Hi! I'm Lia,

I'm a recent Information Science and Statistics graduate of the University of Michigan. There, I learned to wear various hats, taking on multiple projects and courses such as Product Design, Interaction Design, Needs Assessment & Usability Testing, Market Research Analysis, Statistical Computing, Applied Statistical Methods, Data Exploration, Data Manipulation, and Probability.

I'm a designer that loves programming, a programmer that loves design, and all the things in-between. Above all, I want to understand what users need and have the breadth to build, test, and optimize it quantitatively and qualitatively.

Recently, I've been interested in data visualization, HFE, and this album.

I'm a student at the University of Michigan studying Information Science and Statistics. More than that, I'm a designer that loves to code, a coder that loves to design, and all the things in-between.

Some cool things I’ve done...

When I’m not in the classroom or the office...

Film photography! One of my 2026 bucket list items is to learn how to develop my photos in a darkroom on my own!

I write for UM’s largest student newspaper, the Michigan Daily! Joining Michigan in Color was a beautiful, pivotal moment of my college career — I was able to explore my identity, creativity, and personal ambitions with a lovely community of driven creatives!

YouTube video essays — give me an interesting topic and I’ll sit and learn for as long as it takes (and my friends will hear about it too).
