OVERVIEW

Overview

God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines (GSGEDM) is preparing to debut their feature film and is exploring innovative ways to market the film and distribute media independently. This includes the creation of an on-demand portal where users can access their new film, archival footage, and other exclusive content.

To patch up some discrepancies, my team also used the title “Detroit Techno” as a term to refer to this project.

PROBLEM

GSGEDM needs a way to distribute their content.

The proposed site will serve as a centralized hub for GSGEDM's media, offering a seamless user experience for both content creators and viewers.

Our goals are:

  1. Design and develop a site to host all GSGEDM content and act as a film archive.

  2. Enable GSGEDM to independently upload and manage videos.

  3. Implement a paywall for accessing exclusive content.

I was the product manager on this project, supporting both UX designers and software developers (front-end and back-end) with their respective tasks.
